Kenzo Perfume

Posted on 10th Nov 2009 @ 2:54 PM

Japanese fashion house Kenzo stocks all you need to ensure you feel (and smell!) as pretty as a Flower.
The designer’s men’s collection was launched back in 1983, with the women’s perfume line soon following suit in 1988.
Since then, fragrant favourites like the original women’s Kenzo Flower Perfume have seen sales of the brand soar.
Kenzo Pour Homme was the designer’s first men’s perfume, which was released in 1991. Launched in 2000, Flower by Kenzo fast became a flagship women’s fragrance for the Kenzo Parfums brand.

Subtly feminine and fabulously floral, Kenzo Flower is contained in a tall, sleek transparent perfume bottle with a striking poppy emblem. Inspired by the scentless poppy, Flower by Kenzo is classically sophisticated and makes an ideal women’s fragrance for casual or occasion wear.
Released in 2000, the Flower women’s fragrance collection has since expanded beyond the original Kenzo Flower perfume - now including several variations on the popular theme. Flower Oriental, composed by perfumer Alberto Morillas pays homage to its Japanese roots.
It’s vibrant, unique and combines spicy and peppery notes in a soft, sweet powdery floral scent - an altogether less girlie version of the original Kenzo perfume.

Kenzo Amour, Summer, Kenzo Power, the bizarrely named Jungle Elephant, Jungle Homme and Kenzo Pour Homme complete the collection’s perfume line-up.
Kenzo Amour Perfume, aka kenzoamour was created by Daphne Bugey and Olivier Cresp and combines notes of cherry blossom, rice steam, white tea, frangipani, heliotrope, thanaka wood, incense, vanilla and musk. Inspired by a couple’s voyage through India, Japan and Vietnam, this women’s perfume epitomises emotion and love.

Sweetly satisfying with a stylised floral accord, it’s a heavy, fluffy concoction oif vanilla dn musky woody notes - it's a pleasant, wearable ladies’ fragrance that's certainly worth a spritz in the perfume shop. Refreshingly light, Kenzo Summer is a women’s scent that combines rich spices with the coolness of litchi sorbet and the awakening tangy, zest of mandarin. I A ‘Flower for Men’, Kenzo Power contains bergamot, coriander, cardamom, tolu balsam, cedar wood and labdanum. A refreshing, masculine men’s perfume, it’s suitable for day or night. Kenzo Pour Homme (the male version of Flower by Kenzo) is also a winner amongst fashion-conscious men, as is Kenzo Jungle Elephant and Kenzo Jungle Homme.

Head to the perfume shop and pick a Flower - there will be one for you.
